North America’s largest roofing manufacturer, GAF, was building a new headquarters in New Jersey. A key element of the build was a corporate atrium, a space designated as an “experience center” for town halls and other events. The AV centerpiece would be a 3×3 video wall of 55” displays with two flanking 60” displays and a third 60” display at the entrance.

The atrium space needed to be completed in time for the company’s grand opening on a significantly shortened timeline due to the intricacies of artwork on the atrium’s exhibit walls.

With a story spanning back to 1886, it was crucial that GAF’s culture, brand and history be represented in the environment through custom exhibit walls brought further to life through the video wall.

Verrex of Mountainside, New Jersey, used Chief’s LVSXU ConnexSys Video Wall Mounting System to ensure the video wall was perfectly balanced and completed within the demanding timeline. Verrex installation lead, Adam Mogila, and other team members commented that the Chief LVSXUs were “the easiest to install wall mount system” they had used to date.

Verrex was the AV integrator on a collaborative team that included AV consultant, Commsult Communications; architecture firm, Nelson Architects; and general contractor, Turner.

Verrex was able to complete the installation in time for the grand opening event. With a guest list that included GAF leadership and the mayor of Parsippany, GAF was incredibly pleased they could unveil the atrium for their major event and a new chapter in their history.
